25th January 1942: On her return journey from the US east coast U-123 continues her attacks on lone merchant ships

Images from U-123 dated January 1942 with a merchant ship in the distance. This appears to be the CULEBRA which was attacked from a position facing the stern. The photographer on board U-123, Seaman specialist Toelle, was badly injured during the attack when a shell misfired.
