As soon as the Nazis took power in 1933 they began a campaign against the Jews. Boycott of the National Socialists against Jewish shops in Germany, SA man and SS man glueing a sign with the inscription "Germans! Defend yourself! Don't buy from Jews!" to the shop window of a Jewish business. Gradually more and more restrictions were enacted into law.
