11th July 1941 : A day to remember for the McKenzie family

Although the worst of the blitz was over, it did not feel like it to the people who were casualties of the Luftwaffe’s intermittent raids on Britain. In the week ending 9th July 1941 78 people were killed by bombing and many more injured.
