A nugget of copper ore held by the Imperial War Museum, London. 'This copper ore was mined by F B Taffs at Kinkaseki, Taiwan. He smuggled the copper ore out by hiding it in his bottom. The POWs were given a quota of a trolley to be filled in a day, if this was not completed, those failing would be thrashed with mining hammers.'
