Clydebank counts the cost

15th March 1941: Working class communities in Glasgow have been ripped apart by the two day Blitz - and thousands of survivors are now evacuated

This map, compiled and designed by Tom McKendrick in 1983, is included as part of the artist’s research for the paintings titled “Map” It shows the concentration of bombs in the town of Clydebank by the raids on 13th and 14th March.
